Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarship Fund For Women Pilots
This is part of the Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarships & Awards which are awarded to qualified members for advanced flight training, jet type ratings and technical training plus two specialized scholarships: an Emergency Maneuver Training Scholarship established in memory of 99 members Vicki
Requirements: Applicants must be a member of The Ninety-Nines for at least one year prior.

Alaska Airmen Association Scholarships
Although the 2019 session is closed, the AAA scholarships help members by giving over ten thousand dollars towards a career in aviation. Alaska Airmen Association scholarships are as diverse as the aviation industry itself. High school seniors are eligible, with acceptance letters from aviation schools or recommendation letters from a CFI.
American Association of Airport Executives Scholarships
With the lowest minimum of $3,000, undergraduates can apply for the American Association of Airport Executives scholarship. Undergraduate or graduate students are eligible to apply if they, their spouse, or one of their parents is an active Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) AND a member of their regional AAAE chapter.
Requirements: The term “children” under the program means natural or legally-adopted children, stepchildren and legal wards supported wholly by the guardian who is an active A.A.E.
AASF Memorial Scholarships
Alaskan Aviation Safety Foundation provides scholarships to individuals who want to develop their aviation careers. There are three scholarships available each year for up to $2,000 each which are,The Tom Wardleigh Memorial Scholarship, The Virginia Hyatt Memorial Scholarship and The Ellen Paneok Memorial Scholarship.
Requirements: Before you apply for the Alaskan Aviation Safety Foundation, candidates must
- Have spent at least two of the past three years in continuous official residency in Alaska
- Enrolled in an aviation-related program in an accredited college, university, trade school or approved training center
- Intends to make aviation their career
- Has completed at least two semesters, or 30% of the work towards his/her professional goal.
University of Adelaide Global Academic Excellence Scholarship
The 2020 University of Adelaide Global Academic Excellence Scholarship (International) is a highly competitive award that rewards commencing undergraduate and postgraduate coursework international students who have demonstrated academic excellence in previous studies. Each department which obviously includes the Aviation faculty will award two only scholarships of a 50% reduction of the tuition fee to the applicant in their faculty with the highest score above an ATAR of 98 or GPA of 6.8.
Applicants will be automatically offered this scholarship by 17 January (first half) or 26 June (second half);
University of Adelaide Global Academic Excellence Scholarship selection is based on academic merit;
Successful applicants will be notified within 1 to 2 weeks of the scholarship closing date; unsuccessful applicants will NOT be contacted.

Royal Aeronautical Society
The Aviation scholarship is for UK students and is awarded to two students annually. It is valued at two thousand euros for each beneficiary.
The scholarship is strictly for students in their final year in an undergraduate degree, undertaking a master’s degree or final year in an important Ph.D.

AIAA Foundation Scholarship
In the past 20 years, the AIAA Foundation has provided over 750 scholarships and graduate awards to students at more than 150 colleges and universities worldwide. The beneficiary must be an AIAA member and full-time student. Application are accepted from October 1st to 31st January. It is given to undergraduate and graduate students in any science or engineering course related to aerospace.
Aircraft Electronics Association

Aero Club of New England Scholarships

Airbus GEDC Diversity Award
Designed for engineering students worldwide, The Airbus GEDC Diversity Award aims to shine a light on successful projects that inspire students from all profiles and backgrounds to study and succeed in engineering. The award was developed and funded by Airbus in partnership with the GEDC, the leading international organization for leaders of schools and colleges of engineering education. This was launched in 2012, the award is now in its 7th year.
Air league Engineering Scholarship in the UK
This body collaborates with two other bodies: JN Somers Charitable Will Trust and Rhodes Moorehouse UC Charitable Trust, to provide scholarships and placement or two in engineering in United Kingdom’s leading flying schools or aerospace companies. Air League provides an annual program of engineering scholarships offering one or two-week work placements with UK’s leading aerospace companies or flying schools.

Aero Club of Pennsylvania Scholarships
This is a scholarship program for Delaware Valley Pilots, Aero Club Members and Aviation Enthusiasts who are strictly US Citizens and live in Philadelphia.
The scholarship value ranges from $2,000 to $25,000. Aero Club of Pennsylvania was established with the goal of supporting young men and women from the Philadelphia/Greater Delaware Valley region in their efforts toward an aviation career.

Cape Area (Cape Cod, MA) Pilots Association
Providing scholarship which ranges from $1,000 to $3,000, The Cape Area Pilot’s Association, Inc. is a group of 122 Cape pilots organized to promote aviation safety and education and meets on the first Wednesday of each month at Cape Cod Community College in West Barnstable. It was originally organized in 1995 as the Chatham Airport Pilot’s Association and soon expended to encompass aviation and membership at the Cape’s ten airports.
The Western Michigan University College of Aviation
Offers a bachelor’s degree program in aviation science, aviation maintenance, and aviation administration. The Student Financial Aid Office supports the recruitment, retention and degree completion of a dynamic and culturally diverse student body, in preparation for a lifetime of personal and professional success.
Military bound students are preferred in-flight science scholarship and students should have at least a 3.0 GPA and are valued at five hundred dollars.
Clay Lacy Scholarship Program
The scholarship valued at five thousand dollars is sent directly to the beneficiary’s choice school for probably tuition, books, fees, pilot ground and flight training or other educational expenses.
The scholarship provides financial assistance to attend the Los Angeles Unified School District’s North Valley Occupational Center Aviation Mechanics School. The FAA-approved Aircraft Mechanic Program is offered at the Aviation Center at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles.
Applicants must be US citizens residing in southern CA and enrolled or plan to enroll in a community college, four-year college, university, etc., that is accredited and has a formal aviation curriculum that could bag a certificate, license or degree in aviation.
Aero Club of Southern California
The Aero Club’s scholarships program assists young people pursuing their aviation and aerospace goals through higher education. The flying club is looking for students who are passionate about a future in space and aviation studies.
The scholarship value ranges from $2,000 -25,000. Applicants Must Maintain A Minimum 3.0 GPA, Demonstrate Intent To Pursue A Career In Aviation Or Aerospace, And Be Full-Time Students Now And When The Scholarship Will Be Used.
Cessna 170 Association Scholarship

The Aviation Scholarship program is designed to recognize and assist college students who have strong interests in pursuing aviation-related careers. This scholarship aims to promote aviation safety through unusual attitude and aerobatic training. The applicant must be a member of IAC and hold a private pilot certificate. International Society of Women Airline Pilots

Women in Aviation International (WAI) Foundation Scholarships
This body spends millions of dollars annually in raising women who will take over and/or participate in every sphere of the aviation industry. In 2019, A total of $948,500 of scholarship funds were awarded to candidates.
Requirements like: being a student member of WAI, college transcript, faculty recommendations, ability to write an excellent essay and professional résumé, and licenses and certification.
The 2020 scholarship application process is now online, and applications will be due on November 12, 2019. Remember that applicants must be WAI members in good standing.

This scholarship is not intended for individuals already enrolled in a university-based flight program, which offers instruction in private pilot certification as part of the curriculum.
NBAA National Business Aviation Foundation
The regional business aviation associations offer a number of scholarships for current and prospective business aviation professionals.
The scholarships offered by NBAA are through donations from NBAA members. Meanwhile, The members offer nearly $100,000 annually in cash awards as tuition reimbursement for enrolled students and nearly the same amount in monetary and training awards for working professionals in business aviation, including pilots, maintenance professionals, schedulers, dispatchers, flight attendants and flight technicians.
National Gay Pilots Association Scholarship

NGPA scholarships are open to everyone regardless of sexual orientation or gender, identity. The government of Singapore/ ICAO Training Scholarship for Developing Countries
Organized by Singapore Government in partnership with ICAO, The scholarship is for training conducted by experts in the aviation industry and for people nominated by their governments. The training fees, daily allowance, and hotel accommodation are benefits to be accrued from it.
The government must complete and endorse the nomination form before the applicants apply online. Although Participants are advised to secure their own overseas travel insurance to cover themselves for the period of the training in Singapore.
Whirly-Girls Helicopter Scholarships
The scholarship is typically applied toward Commercial, Instrument, Instructor, ATP, or Turbine Transition Training. The applicant must be a helicopter pilot with at least a private pilot certificate/license. She must be a member in good standing at the time of application submission, the award of scholarship, and during scholarship training, and must have joined the Whirly-Girls no later than August 23, 2019. Scholarship training must be completed by December 31, 2020.
Women Soaring Pilots Association
The purpose of the Women Soaring Pilots Association is to encourage women to fly gliders. Scholarships are offered to women of all skill levels, from beginning students to advanced licensed pilots. Applicants are required to be members of WSPA and must live in the US. It is also expected that applicants must be at least up to 25 years old. WSPA scholarship ranges from $1,000 to $5,000.
Alex Gilmer Flight School Scholarship
This Aviation Scholarship Program is designed to help aspiring pilots pay the costs of flight school and obtain their pilots’ licenses. It also places an emphasis on educating people about safe flying.
This financial assistance will provide current and future pilots, within the State of Colorado, an opportunity to begin and finish their Private Pilot – Airplane Single Engine Land (ASEL), Commercial Pilot – ASEL, Commercial Pilot – Airplane Multi-Engine Land (AMEL) certificates and/or Instrument – Airplane rating.
However, the award or loan can only be applied towards aircraft and instructor charges for flight training. Unfortunately it cannot be used for books, tuition, or other college or a technical school training. The scholarship is up to $3,000 maximum.
American Yankee Association
The AYA seeks young people who wish to apply for a scholarship of up to $2,500 USD to assist them in obtaining a Private Pilot license or equivalent, for the single-engine airplane. The applicant must be 16 to 25 on the application deadline date, February 1. Candidates can be a citizen of any country and need not be a relative of an AYA member.

For the love of sea-plane and other aviation-related courses, BWMSR scholarship program offers financial aid to candidates in and outside the US. Applicants must hold a sport pilot license or higher and must submit the application form and a 500-word essay that includes why the applicant would like to learn to fly seaplanes, how the scholarship will help in career or aviation industry aspirations and a statement of financial need
