Everyone wants something simple and classic and that’s where DJI Mavic Air comes into play. When I presented Mavic Air to my Friends in South Africa, Jack and Bethan Pointed out something which I thought I was the only one that noticed…

What was that?

The Mavic Air might resemble the Spark in terms of size, but that’s basically where the similarity ends. The new drone’s arms are foldable, like those of the Mavic Pro, taking portability to a whole new level. My review is channeled on recommending the best DJI Drone that is very portable and easy to convey around that’s the main reason I picked the Mavic Air

When I watched Mike from Drone supremacy on what he thought about the DJI Mavic air on the grounds of portability, Mike agrees with me that this is the best DJI Drone you can recommend for anyone in love with portable drones.

However, DJI Mavic Drone is not all that perfect as we all talk about it but the good is far greater than the bad just read on…

DJI MAVIC Design

This drone packs a lot of features if you ask me despite its small shell. Most drone lovers love filming in 4k. The Mavic Air shoots video at an incredible 4K 30 fps, recording at 100 Mbps to capture every second with UHD quality.

What About Those Who love Travelling

The Mavic Air captures all your epic high-speed adventures with support for recording 1080p 120 fps slow-motion videos.

Still on the Design, Aside from the Sleek shape and the cool colors of DJI Mavic Air, the improved gimble design and the new remote controller that allows you to screw off the sticks. This basically improved the usability of the drone always

Hidden Tips You need to know about the DJI Mavic Drone

This was not listed out, but I feel you need to know more about the internal 8-gigabyte storage that you can use if you in any way forgot your SD card at Home.

Basically, DJI Spark is also known for its portability and mild soundproof no doubt, but the foldable design of the Mavic Air is superb.

Video shots from Mavic Air

The video shots from the Mavic Air are very nice and great when you set your cameras appropriately. The drone has a classic way of assuring its users with cool and quality shots during recording,

Foldable Remote Controllers

The dedicated remote controller uses a foldable, low-profile, ergonomic design to hold your smartphone for maximum convenience. Removable control sticks store inside the remote controller to pack more comfortably on the go.

Adaptation on Strong Winds

Nature at which the Mavic air handles the Wind is amazing which I prefer this drone than my prior drone. The Mavic Air handles the wind without showing any signs of drifting or shaking during my recording.

The Battery Life

The Battery life of DJI Mavic Air is just around 18 minutes to 21 minutes. A friend of mine confirms approximately 19 minutes and here am I with 18 minutes and 30 seconds. I think really depends on your settings. The 18-21 minutes of the DJI Mavic drone is great for most of its users especially when you as the user is flying within your line of sight and set the battery warning at 20 percent.

What I Hate About the Mavic Air

1#. It’s a bit noisy

DJI Mavic air is great no doubt, but if you have in any way encountered one or two experience with the DJI spark, then you will agree with me that the DJI Mavic Air is somehow noisy to some extent.

I recall one funny experience in my backyard when I was flying this drone for the very first time, Martha my neighbor came out and she was like “ Dude is that a Beehive” it’s funny but this bothers me in the public.

2#. Charging the Battery from the USB C Port

This is one the challenges that bother me….You can’t charge the battery via the USB C PORT that is on the back of the drone. This is one of the major issues I believe the DJI company needs to address ah mean to make things easier.

3#. No Wheel at the remote controller

Most people neglect this part but I see that as a challenge though. There is no wheel on the remote controller for changing the exposure value and the share speed.

My Recommendations

I recommend that the DJI company will be making provisions of internal 8-gigabyte storage for upcoming drones.so that In case you forget your SD card at home, that will serve as an alternative.

DJI Mavic Drone is suitable for every adventure you can think off. The Mavic Air is so portable and it gives me peace of mind just a bit noisy though. It’s fun, simple, and intuitive, SmartCapture offers a new and interactive way of controlling the Mavic Air by hand. Launch and control the drone with hand gestures, then take photos or videos however you like. Finally
